Chiefs Scrap By Raiders To Stay Undefeated

The Chiefs hit 4-0 after a 30-27 win over the Raiders, but massive pass protection issues and special teams errors are causing major concerns in KC.

Stephen A. Smith is making some massive claims about the Kansas City Chiefs. He thinks the road to another ring goes through a familiar face. The ESPN personality believes adding one specific player would lead the franchise to a Super Bowl victory. That name is Tyreek Hill.

The idea sounds great on paper. It also sounds completely insane. For more than a year, Hill has remained inactive in NFL competition. You can’t just plug a legend back into the lineup and expect instant magic. But Smith isn’t interested in reality. He’s interested in the hype.

The Hill Reunion Theory

“If the Kansas City Chiefs get Tyreek Hill, and Tyreek Hill is at eighty percent – I didn’t say 100, I said eighty,” Stephen A. Smith said on ESPN’s First Take. He didn’t stop there. Smith is making a massive promise. “I am guaranteeing you the Kansas City Chiefs are going to win the Super Bowl championship.”

It’s a huge gamble on a player who is dealing with his own issues. Hill was a star in KC, earning three First Team All-Pro honors. Now, he’s looking at free agency in 2026 after some tough years with injuries. Smith thinks the “Cheetah” belongs back in the Midwest.

Mahomes and the Current Roster

The Chiefs don’t necessarily need a miracle to win. They’re already 4-0. They just beat the Raiders 30-27 in a wild game. Patrick Mahomes threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns during that win. Kay Adams noted that Mahomes is the best quarterback because “he is never the reason the Chiefs lose.” That’s a heavy statement. It suggests the foundation is already solid without needing a massive trade.

The offense is actually working well right now. Kenneth Walker III was a beast against Las Vegas. He rushed for 177 yards and two scores. The team is winning with the run game. Adding a deep threat like Hill would certainly change the math, but the current 4-0 start proves the engine is already running.
